Soft toys have been popping up all week in Room 30, so Mrs Belt said we could bring them along today for a "reading picnic" under the trees. We only had a little time at the end of our day before Community, but it was just enough to gather under a shady tree and enjoy some more of our class book. Mrs Belt is currently reading Fantastic Mr Fox (by Roald Dahl) to us!After a couple of chapters, we met some of the cuddly toys that had been brought along and heard some of their history. Everyone really enjoyed this session after lunch so we may just do it again!
